Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub, an American comedian and actress, is often referred to as Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub. Born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents She began her career as a child actor shortly after immigrating to the United States. In AT&T commercials, she played the role of Lily Adams (saleswoman) from 2013 through 2016 and the year 2020. Apart from her commercial appearances, she was also a regular on the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction show Other Space (2015). She also had a regular role on the NBC drama This Is Us 2016-2017. After being featured in the unaired TV pilot for New Warriors, Vayntrub also voices Squirrel Girl on Marvel Rising. Vayntrub was born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic, USSR, and is Jewish. Her parents, who were both just two years old, emigrated to America to escape antisemitism. They were settled in West Hollywood. Her family's financial troubles caused her to be a part of Mattel Barbie commercials from the age of 5. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School. But she dropped out of the school in her sophomore year. She was able to get the GED and then was able to earn an undergraduate degree in Arts (Communication) from the University of California San Diego. She was introduced to improv comedy through the Upright Citizens Brigade.
